2023 Actor Resume

Hannah is a voracious learner with an unquenchable desire to push the boundaries within herself and continually challenge the techniques she's mastered with experimental work. With a strong foundational background in Shakespeare and classical theatre, Hannah trained in Meisner Technique at Baron Brown Studios before becoming a student with Oscar-winner Tim Robbins' theatre company The Actors' Gang, where she explored Commedia Dell'arte, Viewpoints, and "the style". She is now a proud company member with The Actors' Gang after participating in several company workshops, a live ensemble production and a film project directed by Tim Robbins.

SARTE & SIMONE
workshop production

Hannah is currently working in weekly readings of the play with writer William Cane. She is acting in the roles of Wanda (Sartre's underage girlfriend) Eva (Hitler's wife) and The Messenger.

Jean-Paul Sartre is one of the most recognized names in philosophy. Along with Simone de Beauvoir, his lifelong companion, he electrified a
generation with his ideas about man’s responsibility to shape his own fate. This comedy is based on a true story. Six actors (three men and three women) play all the roles in the production.

WE LIVE ON

Hannah Hartman conducted her own interviews, transcribed and wrote parts of the piece that she then performed under the guidance of Mr. Robbins.

Based on Studs Terkel's "Hard Times: An Oral History of the Great Depression" this ensemble piece recounts the life and times of the people who suffered, survived, and thrived during the 1930's in America. Brought to life by The Actors' Gang and directed by academy award-winner Tim Robbins, this live production ran for 3 months, before being adapted for film.

January 2020 - February 2020

CABARET

Hannah was cast as one of the enigmatic Kit-Kat Girls in The Actors' Gang production of Cabaret.

The show was an experimental extravaganza that was meant to capture and emulate the boundary breaking weirdness of Berlin's artists in 1930. Unfortunately cancelled mid-production due to the rise of Covid, this show was Hannah's first professional production as a company member with the "Gang".

THE LEGEND OF HYDEAWAY RANCH

Hannah filmed this neo-noir western on location in Pagosa Springs, CO. She played the long-suffering sister of the lead, and enjoyed the opportunity to work with livestock, firearms under the instruction of an armorer, and trek through acres of deep snow for the sake of the "perfect shot".

A broken cowboy, in a last ditch effort to save his family's land, takes on an apprentice who turns out to be more than what he seems.
